Dodgingtown Fire Department was founded in 1909, and Incorporated in 1911. Being the second fire department in the Town of Newtown it has an extremely rich history. We are an all-volunteer department comprised of many lifelong members, as well many newer members. The Dodgingtown Fire Company provides emergency services to the South-West portion of the Town of Newtown. Because of the geographic location, the company also provides mutual aid services to Bethel, Redding and Easton.
